This Saturday (November 26th) Richard is demonstrating some of the principles of Deep Frying, featuring the 'Cuisinart Deep Fryer' which has a very fast heat recovery and huge capacity for a home appliance
Of all the nations of the world there is only one people that do fish & chips better than the English and that is the Scots!! Spoken like a true Scotsman you may say. If you do then I hope you'll be able to come to my demonstration the Saturday, the 26th November when I'll be demonstrating and sharing some crucial principles in getting your batter just right and in seasoning the finished product. I will be using the Cuisinart 4 litre deep fryer which is a great little fryer in a domestic setting. The capacity is such that you can easily cook fish and fries for up to 10 people with it. I'll also be making my special New York Fries they're made fresh to order each time using fresh potatoes and were a great favourite as a side dish back in the restaurant days.
